Ho Chi Minh City

this day i decided to go to Ho Chi Minh City.
i will go to mui ne if there is better wind forecasted (at least 60km/h ;-))

so in Ho Chi Minh City aka saigon i got a privat guesthouse for 8$ and i visited in the afternoon the notre dame catedrale and the war remnant museum.
This disturbing display of man's cruelty during the Vietnam (American) War includes halls full of gruesome photographs, a simulated "tiger cage" prison and jars of deformed fetuses blamed on Agent Orange. There is bias as there are no "records" of any unpleasant deeds having been committed by the North Vietnamese Army. Outside, there are helicopters, jets, tanks, and other bits of armament. one amputee (on both side no hand only the upperarm were ok) came to me and i have to give him my hand....he would try to sell his wares.

notre dame catedrale

a seismic bomb

inside a helicopter

a guillotine

bin my motorbike driver

the traffic in hcmc is more than in hanoi.
what a lucky that i am used to these crazy traffic
this morning for instance i drove with a driver on motorbike with my big luggage 70km/h in mui ne to the bus station without a helmet .....

Hi Bernhard,
*PROST*
In diesem Sinne noch schöne Reise!
